A Pure mind
Selfless
acts and various spiritual practices lead to purification of the mind.
What do we mean by a pure mind. A pure mind has the ability to go inwards
or observe itself. It is a mind in which the desire for knowing the answer
to the mystery of life or God arises automatically. As the mind becomes
pure, there is an automatic detachment for the material world and the
base pleasures of life. So the job that a seeker has to do is purify his
mind. The more the mind is purified, the more the mind becomes free, light
and subtle. It is no longer preoccupied with the world. It becomes capable
of penetrating the truth in the scriptures or in the words or messages
