A two-day music festival was held by Dwarkalaya, the socio-cultural hub that organizes various events in Dwarka. The programme 'Chitrai Isai Vizhaa' was organised at Tamil Sangam auditorium. Artists like Nityashree Mahadeven, Kadri Gopalnath and others performed at the festival. President of Dwarkalaya K Subramanian, informed that this year the festival showcased New Delhi-based artists. "On the first day, music listeners were enthralled by Sudha Raghuraman and G Elangovan who rendered  compositions in Carnatic classical vocal and  devotional. G Raghuraman mesmerised the audience with his Carnatic flute recital. The second day saw performances by Krishnna Natarajan , an IIM graduate, a Hindustani vocalist of the Rampur Sahaswan Gharana and Nagalakshmi Shrinivas," added Mahadevan.
Krishnna Natarajan captivated the audience with his vocals in Rag Yaman. The soulful Carnatic Krithis by Nagalakshmi Srinivas kept the audience glued to their seats. The festival was dedicated to the two very prominent figures in Carnatic music namely, GN Balasubramaniam and DK Pattammal.
